Description was written before the event

Every month, Kabarett Klüngelpütz hosts an evening of satirical short stories read aloud by its regular authors Dagmar Schönleber, Katinka Buddenkotte, Christian Bartel and Marina Barth.

Live musicians play rock'n'roll throughout the evening. The September edition of Rock'n Read also features guest appearances.

About the venue: Kabarett Klüngelpütz

Kabarett Klüngelpütz is one of Cologne's oldest and best-known political cabaret stages, housed in a historic building in the city centre. The programme focuses on satirical comedy, political sketches and stand-up, drawing both local ensembles and guest performers. The name references a Cologne dialect word for a small, murky puddle - fitting for a venue that has long poked fun at local and national politics.
