Max Prosa - Wildwuchs
Konzerthaus Liebfrauen Wernigerode, Germany
27 €
"Wildwuchs" is Max Prosa's fourth collection of lyrical texts and reflections - poems, aphorisms, diary entries and philosophical musings gathered in one place. A meadow of linguistic one-of-a-kinds: wild, mysterious and full of atmosphere.
On the accompanying summer tour he moves through these texts alongside his musical partner Magnus Bang Olsen on piano and double bass. At times forceful and expressive, then delicate and nuanced. It is a journey through the many registers of what it means to be human. The older songs are part of the evening too - among them "Flügel", which became an overnight hit in 2020 after a performance on "The Voice", and "Verschwende Dich", which Hannah Herzsprung used to move cinema audiences in a 2024 feature film. The audience also plays a role: letters written by attendees are woven into the show, as has become a hallmark of Prosa's recent concerts. Entirely its own thing - a true Wildwuchs.
