GTD Comedy Slam - Germany's Largest Stand-Up Competition

Each month, host and comedian Andy Sauerwein presents newcomers and comedians competing to qualify for the annual final on December 19. At least four performers take the stage each evening - each has a maximum of 15 minutes to convince the audience with their own material, without reading from notes. Anyone breaking the rules is disqualified. The audience decides the winner and awards a trophy: best goalkeeper, most beautiful St. Bernard, or most active rabbit, depending on what's currently listed on Ebay-Kleinanzeigen.

After two semifinals on October 24 and November 28, the winners compete in the annual final. The audience selects the Augsburg champion of the year, who qualifies for the Southern German GTD Championship and the Federal Final 2026.
