From 2004 to 2013, Rosenau hosted the annual festival "Wiener Woche" together with Theater Rampe, Theaterhaus, Literaturhaus, and Laboratorium - a week dedicated to Vienna and Austria, featuring cabaret artists, writers, and theatrical productions from the neighbouring country. The series "Wiener Blut" now continues this tradition.

Throughout the year, various Austrian cabaret performers present their programmes at Rosenau: social, political, and interpersonal themes - crafted with cabaret sensibility, often with a sharper edge, darker humour, irony, quirkiness, and frequently more poetic flair than their German counterparts.
