Aus voller Kehle fur die Seele - Series: Das Singende Gasthaus - with Patrick Bopp

"Aus voller Kehle fur die Seele" (Singing Your Heart Out) is a new series at Rosenau open to anyone who enjoys singing - and that really does mean anyone. Whether you think you can't sing at all, manage a little, or belt it out every chance you get, you're welcome here.

This is not a regular choir with rehearsal schedules and performances. It's not really a choir at all - it's a get-together built around the joy of singing: the fun of doing it together, the fun of trying things out, and yes, the fun of failing together too. No sheet music needed; lyrics are projected on a screen. Things can get loud and a little wild.

Patrick Bopp, known as Memphis, is a member of the Stuttgart vocal-comedy group "Fuenf" and hosts the evening as musical MC. He leads the singing, conducts, keeps spirits up, adds harmonies, and accompanies on piano. The repertoire covers anything singable: rock and pop, 1920s cabaret songs, folk, children's songs, rap, ska, and yodelling. Anything goes - from ABBA and Die Toten Hosen to Heino, Schubert lieder, Rio Reiser, and Ed Sheeran. Everyone can suggest songs; requests are played on the spot if possible, or saved for next time. The evening runs 2 x 45 minutes with a break in between, the hall is seated, and the bar is open.
