Nicolas is 17 and no longer the carefree child he once was. Everything around him feels like too much: growing up, his final year at school, his parents' separation, his father's new family. He skips school and turns aggressive. What is happening to him? At his own request, he moves away from his overwhelmed mother to live with his father Pierre and Pierre's new wife. Pierre feels guilty and tries everything to help his son. The move is meant to restore some order to Nicolas's mind and bring back his will to live. At first, things seem to settle down. Then a failed suicide attempt makes clear that Nicolas's problems run far deeper than anyone had assumed. Pierre is desperate, yet he decides against seeking professional help. Will his love be enough to save his son from himself?
