J.S. Bach: Mass in B minor

Bach's Mass in B minor comes to Erlangen on Sunday, 11 October 2026 at 5 p.m. at Evang.-Luth. Kirchengemeinde St. Matthäus. Soprano Franziska Bobe leads a cast including Isabel Grübl (alto), Sergei Nikolaev (tenor), and Anton Weinmann (bass), with the Kantorei St. Matthäus and musicians from Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg under conductor Susanne Hartwich-Düfel. Bach's monumental score ranks among the greatest masses in music history, its refined contrapuntal language creating a work of the highest order.
