Frollein Smilla thrives on stylistic, instrumental, and linguistic variety - pigeonholes are not their thing. Because this is about music: a place without borders that belongs to no one and everyone at once. The band moves between lightness and joie de vivre, political-poetic cynicism, dancing, and losing track of time. A project that moves you, brings people together, and sweeps you along. That is exactly what makes the unmistakable Frollein Smilla sound. With nearly 60 concerts a year and the Newcomer Prize Freiburger Leiter under their belt, the band has plenty of stage experience. Three albums have already been released - Golden Future, Freak Cabaret, and Great Disaster - and in 2024 a fourth followed: KEEP SMILING.
