What adventures await Pinocchio! Just moments ago he was a wooden puppet, and now he is supposed to become a real boy. The woodcarver Geppetto once carved him from a piece of pine wood.

When Geppetto decides to sell the living puppet at the market, the good fairy Antonella immediately brings the wooden figure to life.

But being a real boy is not easy at all. For that, he must go to school and face adventures. And above all, he must not lie! Yet Pinocchio struggles with this. How can he always be honest when the cunning fox Amadeo and the forgetful cat Cerubino keep trapping him? To keep his father from being sad, Pinocchio invents a little fib here and there, but his lies show on his nose.

Pinocchio must overcome many obstacles so that his deepest wish - to become a real boy - comes true. His exciting journey takes him to the theater, across golden fields and into dark corners, where he meets both treacherous figures and true friends. When he searches for his father Geppetto, he is swallowed by a giant whale...
