The year is 2026. Adolf Hitler suddenly wakes up in the middle of Berlin. Confused about how he got there, he sets out to explore a world that is new to him - one that, in his view, has progressed under the influence of National Socialism. Looking for newspapers, he stumbles into a shop but faints when he sees the date. The owner takes pity on him and offers him a place to stay for a few days, during which Hitler is introduced to the modern world through television and the internet.
His rapid rise to fame - driven by scandalous yet seemingly harmless clips online - catches the attention of mainstream media. With the help of a small group of media professionals eager to make quick money, he proceeds to thoroughly challenge the society, the elite, and the political parties of today's Germany.
