For one evening, MüGa-Park in Mülheim an der Ruhr transforms into a gathering point for electronic music fans looking for the real thing. The MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR's Electronic Friday has been a fixture in the festival calendar since 2023, and the 2026 edition brings a line-up built for a proper summer night.

In recent years, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Moguai, Alle Farben, Noel Holler and David Puentez have all shown how tightly music and emotion can be bound together. In 2026, it's Topic who takes the headline slot and leads the crowd on that journey.

Topic has a knack for making music that sticks. "Breaking Me", his 2020 collaboration with Swedish singer A7S, didn't just top charts - it hit the pulse of the club world and still carries the feeling of a perfect summer day. "Your Love", his rework of ATB's classic "9pm (Till I Come)", showed he can breathe new life into old favourites.
