The Jeremy Day Acoustic Group — Ballhaus „Zum fidelen Anreischken“, Duderstadt

The Jeremy Days were one of the few German bands to make it onto MTV in the late 1980s, a time when the channel reserved airtime only for the biggest acts. Their hit "Brand New Toy" became an evergreen, still regularly played on radio today.

Their blend of British pop and American art-rock took them to legendary producers like Clive Langer, Alan Winstanley (who worked with Madness and Elvis Costello) and Fred Maher (who worked with Lou Reed and Lloyd Cole) on a ten-year journey through five albums and Germany's biggest clubs, including a UK tour. By 1995, they had sold over half a million records.

No one believed a reunion was possible when The Jeremy Days suddenly appeared on the stage of Hamburg's sold-out Docks in 2019 after 24 years of silence, delivering a concert that NDR Television called a performance "for the history books of pop music". The band with vocalist Dirk Darmstaedter was back. Would they stay?

In March 2022, the energetic new album "Beauty in Broken" was released - the group's first new record since 1995, which reached number 21 on the German album charts!

Following an extensive German tour in autumn 2023, the band returns as "The Jeremy Days Acoustic Group" for selected "unplugged" shows. Classic jdays songs, tracks from the new album and selected "deepcuts" in a relaxed, acoustic form, along with stories and anecdotes from 35 years of band history.
