A lecture by Dr. rer. medic. Mark Benecke - biologist, author, and forensic expert specialising in the collection, examination, and analysis of biological trace evidence.
The focus is on cases too strange even for Benecke's colleagues: accident or murder? Can a person be killed with body parts? Did an arms dealer and brothel owner really not shoot the dead man found in his bar - of all times? Can police officers plant evidence convincingly enough to put an innocent person under suspicion? The answers are tricky - but only as long as you bring assumptions rather than letting the evidence speak for itself.
Admission is strictly before the event begins and during the interval. Latecomers must wait until the break - otherwise the speaker will stop the event.
