NEW SHOW
Bonjour and a kiss on both cheeks - Johannes Floehr's new show has arrived! Youpi! An evening so cheeky you'll keep it secret from your grandchildren.
Johannes Floehr has stood for good laughs and dadaist entertainment since forever - or more precisely, since 1991. Varied as Haribo Colorado, iconic as the Eiffel Tower, and comedy in bearable doses. Or cabaret, depending on how you look at it. None of it preachy, because the likeable two-metre-tall fellow is simply not clever enough for that. Not that it matters. He'll read from his four books - some of which have long since become cult classics within his own family - alongside stand-up, improvisation, multimedia elements and humour à la cordon bleu. Not as revolutionary as the storming of the Bastille, but funnier.
This rascal has performed in all sorts of places: the Elbphilharmonie, on the internet and TV, at three in the morning on the Reeperbahn, and sometimes in small cultural centres where fourteen audience members made enough noise for eight. Johannes has also picked up awards along the way - including the Hamburger Comedy-Pokal and the golden Bömmelsbacher Kulturradieschen. A true rogue in his field, whatever that may mean. And of course his hometown Krefeld and his current home Hamburg are both near Paris. He won't hear any argument about that. It all depends on where you're standing.
