Since 1991, Johannes Floehr has been delivering fine jokes and dadaist entertainment. As varied as Haribo Colorado, as iconic as the Eiffel Tower - and comedy in bearable doses. Or cabaret, depending on how you look at it. No lecturing, because the likeable two-metre-tall fellow is simply not clever enough for that. Not that it matters. He reads from his four books, which have long achieved cult status in his own family, alongside stand-up, improvisation, multimedia elements and humour à la cordon bleu. Not as revolutionary as the storming of the Bastille, but funnier.

This rascal has performed in all sorts of places: at the Elbphilharmonie, on the internet and TV, at three in the morning on the Reeperbahn, and sometimes in small community venues where fourteen audience members made enough noise for eight. Johannes has also picked up awards along the way - including the Hamburger Comedy-Pokal and the golden Bömmelsbacher Kulturradieschen. And of course his hometown Krefeld and his current home Hamburg are close to Paris - he won't hear otherwise. It all depends on where you're standing.
