Gankino Circus are back with a new show: a glamorous Saturday-night spectacular with a whiff of small-town madness! These musical high-wire acts, familiar from radio and TV, deliver a rock'n'roll extravaganza that is as wild as it is virtuosic - complete with unleashed dialect pop and feelgood songs straight out of the 80s. Unlike the competition on your living-room screen, though, everything at Gankino Circus is live: no backing tracks, no safety net - just groundbreaking musicianship and spontaneous entertainment!

Growing up among freshly painted facades, neatly mown lawns and heated pools, the four childhood friends absorbed the desire for security and routine almost from birth. Then they started their first school band - and the rebellion began. Suddenly these future exceptional artists understood what it's really all about, why God invented rock'n'roll, and why the world damn well needs a Gankino Circus!

These days they play the big stages, and the four men-of-the-world from Ostwestmittelfranken know all about the turbulence that hits when you're suddenly catapulted back into the sleepy village idyll of your own youth and confronted with the opposite of rock'n'roll. Their new show tells those stories - told by masterful musicians, eccentric characters and gifted storytellers - while also offering a wry look behind the curtain of the great small-arts showbiz.
