Karolinenfest - Spiegel I - Die Welt im Spiegel
Stadthalle an der Orangerie, Kirchheimbolanden, Germany
34 €
SPIEGEL I is conceived as a triptych - three independent perspectives on how we encounter the world and what it reflects back to us.
The evening opens with harpsichord concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach: the interplay between musicians unfolds from duo to larger ensembles, a mirror of reaction and spontaneity. In the second part, music enters direct dialogue with visual art: Jérémie Queyras responds to the stage action and captures the fleeting moment in a painting taking shape before the audience - alongside the mondëna quartet and his own compositions. The third part processes the evening's experience through the Jazz Combo of the Deutschen Oper Berlin, opening the space to new sonic perspectives, accompanied by culinary highlights.
Performers: Arash Rokni, Joël Keller, Christof Becker, Clara and Marie Becker (harpsichords), Tommaso Toni and Sofia de Vicente Herrero (violin), Maria Rettenmaier (viola), David Neuhaus (cello), Paula Rommel (double bass), mondëna quartet, Jérémie Queyras (visual art), Jazz Combo der Deutschen Oper Berlin.
