Anouk is a kind and helpful girl - with one thing she absolutely cannot stand: going to bed! So her parents are all the more baffled when she suddenly starts heading to bed each evening with eager anticipation. What they don't know is that every night a magical door opens for Anouk, leading to a world of fantasy and adventure. She joins pirates on a treasure hunt, tackles challenges deep in the jungle, and meets colourful characters at a fairground. Along the way she makes new friends and stands by other children when things get tough. When she tells her parents about her nightly adventures the next morning, they always say: "Sweetheart, you just dreamed all of that!" But Anouk has "proof" that it really happened - and her grandmother seems to know a lot more than she lets on...
