Katrin Iskam - Gardening Without the Fuss

Katrin Iskam is a trained nurse, gardening influencer with nearly 200,000 followers on her @katrinsgarten profile, which won 1st place in the German Garden Book Prize, and a SPIEGEL bestselling author. Her books include: "Mit Witz, Charme und Methode - Das etwas andere Gartenbuch" (2022), "Klotzen statt kleckern: Gartengestaltung mit @katrinsgarten" (2023), and a third title coming in late summer: "Mit Herz & Gabel durch Katrins Gartenjahr 2025". She grew up in the Altmark region and now lives in Himbergen in the Lüneburg Heath - where else would she be.

In her live show "Gardening Without the Fuss", the self-taught gardener shares stories from her daily garden life: midnight snail rescue missions that nearly end at the police station, organic fertilizer by the Christmas tree, and her dachshund Tyson as "head gardener". Then there's Waldemar, her husband, who thinks the jade plant belongs in the chicken coop. Alongside the anecdotes come practical gardening tips - all without unnecessary complications.
