A legendary new comedy crime play from "Theater IK's" and "The Rattles"!!!!!!
"Murder in the Shark Bar St. Pauli" is a hilarious crime comedy brimming with Hamburg port atmosphere, true love, and a captivating blend of theatre and rock music performed by the original rock legends "The Rattles".
Hamburg's St. Pauli district, 1965. In the Shark Bar, patrons sing, dance, sway together, and celebrate with many original songs including "Auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins" and "Die Männer sind alles Verbrecher"! The bar is filled with rose vendors, ladies of the night, tough guys, and Hamburg originals "Uncle Hugo" and "Auntie Hermine". "Uncle Hugo", as a "clever Hamburger", has lured the Hamburg band "The Rattles" to the bar to delight the assembled guests. "The Rattles" naturally ensure the atmosphere reaches that famous "boiling point"!! The band's fascinating history is, of course, not overlooked!!
In the midst of this turbulent revelry, the pimp "Danzinger" is strangled!! Was it his girlfriend "Moni"??? Or is "Uncle Hugo" behind it?? And why does the rose vendor look so innocent?? "The Rattles" were certainly not responsible... they continue to heat things up with their "hot rhythms"!! Fortunately, "Wachtmeister Lothar" from Hamburg's Davidwache precinct arrives at the bar just in time!!
