La noche del Tango - When Angels Dance the Tango with the Devil

The Hamburg Stage Ensemble brings together young, highly skilled instrumentalists united by a shared vision: to not only perform music but to communicate it. The joy of playing together is at the heart of everything they do. With a small ensemble and no conductor, the audience is drawn directly into the concert experience.

Violinist Arsen Zorayan returns as soloist and artistic director, once again taking the audience on a journey through the four seasons - though this time the composer is not Antonio Vivaldi but Astor Piazzolla. Rich, spirited tangos and ballads by Piazzolla and other Latin American composers fill the second half of the programme as well, for which the Hamburg Stage Ensemble has secured the outstanding bandoneon player Michael Dolak as guest soloist.
