IC Falkenberg - Unterstrichen
Regattastrecke, Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany
39.5 €
IC Falkenberg performs his new songs alongside hits like "Dein Herz", "Mann im Mond", "Eine Nacht" and "Wunderland", plus tracks that have been absent from his setlists for years. Many of the songs come with entertaining stories behind them, which he'll share along the way.
IC Falkenberg has been performing since the age of ten. In the 1980s he was the singer, composer and lyricist of Stern Meissen, whose most successful era he helped shape with his hits. From the mid-80s onwards he built a parallel solo career under the name IC Falkenberg, becoming one of the most popular solo artists in East Germany - his first two solo albums each sold over 250,000 copies. More than 50 years on stage and 29 albums speak for themselves, as does the breadth of his musical output.
IC Falkenberg is joined by Ilka Griesser on cello, Katharina von Koch on violin, and Silke Schmidt on viola.
Ilka Griesser started playing cello at eight, attended the "Spezialschule für Musik" in Halle, and in 2014 completed her studies in music, musicology, media studies and psychology at the "Hochschule der Künste" in Berlin. She is also a state-certified violin maker. Since 2022 she has worked as a freelance cellist across all genres.
Violinist Katharina von Koch also studied at the "Spezialschule für Musik" in Halle before going on to study music, musicology and journalism in Leipzig. She has played with the Jugendsinfonieorchester Sachsen-Anhalt, the academic orchestras in Halle and Leipzig, and various other ensembles.
Silke Schmidt received her first violin lessons at the age of five, laying the groundwork for her musical career. While studying cultural management in Passau, this native of Lower Saxony discovered the viola and expanded her artistic range.
