Much Ado About Nothing

Claudio, Benedick and Don Pedro return from war and visit an old friend in Messina. Romance is in the air. Claudio - a successful soldier but an uncertain lover - courts the virtuous Hero. Meanwhile, Don Pedro's half-brother schemes with deception, slander and romantic torment. On the other side, everyone works tirelessly to bring Beatrice and Benedick together. A seemingly impossible task, since both confirmed singles make their mutual disdain perfectly clear through sharp-tongued sparring. For better or worse, there is eavesdropping, deliberate misinformation and misunderstanding at every turn. With any luck, it will all amount to nothing in the end.
