WIR ("we") starts with two.
A family, a band.
A nation and the whole planet.
For the musicians of FEDERSPIEL, WIR is more than a simple list: it encompasses the knowledge and imagination of every generation before us. We, here and now, are merely the youngest in an endless series of growth rings, each with its own story to tell.

And that brings us to JETZT ("now"). For the seven musicians, this means: the right cue, the right timing, and the magic of the moment in every performance. Because that narrow strip between past and future is ours to keep - ours as artists, as people, as humanity. Only in the present do we truly exist.
Only in JETZT can we act, move things and people.

The craft of the mixed wind ensemble has ripened over more than two decades into full bloom: inclusion rather than demonstration.
FEDERSPIEL invites audiences, with nimble virtuosity and moving compositions, to let music stop time - while never standing still themselves.
