"BEWUSST Gute Laune - Ein Weg dahin" is Jeanine's 2024 book, and the Jeanine Vahldiek Band aims to achieve exactly that through their concerts. Their fifth album "Kitschig Wunderbar" strikes straight to the heart and soul. Through their distinctive music and refreshing approach, it becomes immediately clear: no matter what kind of day you've had, this good-mood tour works.
The unusual sounds of the orchestral harp, mixed with vocals, countless percussion instruments, ukulele, ukulele bass, and Hawaiian guitar, allow each song to bloom anew. You think of reggae, pop, jazz, and singer-songwriter. A band concert is therefore highly engaging and stands out especially through the interplay of the two musicians.
The fact that both musicians produce different sounds in almost surreal combinations fascinates the audience. When Jeanine Vahldiek and Steffen Haß take the stage, a calming lightness begins to fill the room. Once they start playing, this energy has already reached the listener and carries them into another world where they realize they can choose to be happy and content. During their remarks, the audience finds themselves philosophizing with amusement and discovering that the evening and the earth are round, and they leave for home in a wonderful mood.
Even before they met, their lives took them around the globe. Various experiences now shape their songs. The fact that a joyful day brings happiness clearly flows into their style and music. In 2009, both musicians founded the Jeanine Vahldiek Band. The album "Kitschig Wunderbar" was their first released exclusively with German lyrics. Previous albums include "come with me" (2010), "a little courage" (2012), "blank canvas" (2014), and "no hardship" (2017).
