Anniversary Programme 75 Years: "I Still Have a Tesla in Berlin"

In the 75th anniversary programme of the cabaret Die Stachelschweine "I've Still Got a Tesla in Berlin" by Frank Lüdecke and Sören Sieg, a vision of the future in 2029 is told.

Germany's new Chancellor Sahra Wagenknecht comes under mounting pressure as the state debt spirals out of control. A cheese roll costs 14 euros, BASF and Bayer have emigrated to Asia, VW and BMW belong to Tesla. Germany's creditworthiness has been downgraded to BB, half of tax revenues go to interest payments.

The Chancellor has an idea. With a single measure, she calculates, she can finance all her campaign promises: retirement at 55, free public transport, and rent controls frozen at 1989 levels. It's the "secret plan Berlin." The capital is to be sold as Germany's crown jewel. An electric car manufacturer, operator of voice-message services, Mars rockets, and brain implants jumps at the opportunity...
