Nadejda Vlaeva
"I play for Weltklassik am Klavier because it creates a rare, intimate connection between artist and audience - every concert feels like a shared emotional experience. To me, Weltklassik means art without borders, where music flows directly into the hearts of listeners." - Nadejda Vlaeva

Nadejda Vlaeva has been called one of those extraordinary pianists we all hope for but rarely get to hear: "It goes straight to the heart!" and "How could it be otherwise when Nadejda Vlaeva plays." So writes the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

She has performed as a soloist and with leading orchestras across Europe, Asia, and North America. As the first artist to record the complete Bach transcriptions by Camille Saint-Saëns (Hyperion), she earned praise from BBC Music Magazine as "positively stunning". She received the Grand Prix "Liszt" for her CD "Piano Music of Liszt". Recently rediscovered works by 19th-century composers Bortkiewicz and Drozdoff received their world premieres at her hands in Carnegie Zankel Hall. At the EG Conference she collaborated with violinist Joshua Bell. Her performances captivate audiences through sheer charisma and stage presence.
