Programme: "Beyond Barock" - works by Handel, Neri, Telemann, Resatsch, Encke, Bach, Lehel, Pergolesi & Lewinter

The horn quartet German Hornsound was founded in Stuttgart in 2010 and has since performed at virtually every major music festival in the German-speaking world. Their repertoire spans original works, arrangements, and commissioned compositions from across the full sweep of music history. The quartet regularly performs Robert Schumann's "Konzertstück" under conductors such as Michael Sanderling and Paavo Järvi, and also champions contemporary music - together with the Bochumer Symphoniker, German Hornsound gave the world premiere of a work by Estonian composer Erki-Sven Tüür, written specifically for four horns and orchestra. Each of the four hornists holds a permanent position in a professional orchestra: the Bamberger Symphoniker, the Niedersächsisches Staatsorchester Hannover, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, and the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker.

Season subscriptions (6 concerts in the "Musica antica e viva" series) are available from 11 July 2026 exclusively at the Tourist-Information box office - in person, in writing, or by phone (in-person buyers are served first). Subscription prices: Category A 188 € / 95 € concession, B 145 € / 74 € concession, C 106 € / 55 € concession, D 73 € / 38 € concession.

Single tickets cost between 15 and 39 € including booking fee; individual ticket sales are expected to begin on 9 August 2026 - at the box office or online via the Kulturszene-Kempen-Shop (additional fees apply).
