Exploration a-cappella
Maria-Hilf-Kirche, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany
In summer 2026, Camerata Vocale Freiburg presents an ambitious a-cappella programme that brings together different epochs, sonic languages, and forms of expression. Works by Johannes Brahms and Maurice Ravel meet, among others, with music by Edward Elgar, as well as contemporary pieces. The evening lives from the interplay between sonic density and delicate restraint, between Romantic warmth, Impressionist colour, and modern clarity. Camerata Vocale Freiburg demonstrates what sets it apart: a homogeneous, transparent choral sound, the highest degree of text intelligibility, and an interpretative depth that far transcends mere perfection.
