Culinary delight and suspense: Guests at the Alt-Oberurseler Brauhaus in Oberursel are in for something special. Das Kriminal Dinner offers a delicious multi-course menu in stylish surroundings, framed by a gripping crime story:
"Der letzte Joint der Marie Juana - A Hippie Crime"
The year 1999 is drawing to a close. Old hippies Sabine and Michi are still trapped in the Flower Power era. Slowly they begin to yearn for change - they are ready for the island. An invitation to the grand Millennium party "HIGH END" on the tiny island of Hellegraskog arrives at just the right moment. This island, owned by beach-chair magnate Tim le Ary, serves as the venue for a retreat on "opening" to mark the 30th anniversary of Woodstock. The spirit of the 70s is invoked, and a motley group of participants - from old 1968 hippies to 90s party girls - immerse themselves deeply in a world not yet entirely forgotten. With grass and in grass, they work diligently and substantially on themselves.
But then the unthinkable happens - a murder amid an atmosphere of love, peace and bliss. A lifeless body lies on white sand. Who pushed Marie Juana off the cliff?
The enticing multi-course menu is prepared and served by the kitchen team at the Alt-Oberurseler Brauhaus. The thrills for nerves and palate begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
