zwei:takt Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie
Tauberphilharmonie Weikersheim, Germany
17 €
"Divertimento" - that is exactly what this concert promises: musical "pleasure"!
Germany's youngest leading orchestra spans a stylistically diverse programme from Nordic elegance through Bohemian melodies to the expressive "Partita" by Gideon Klein. The homogeneous string sound lends this evening a captivating intensity.
The Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie brings together the finest young string talents from music schools across Germany. It is a member of the Orchestergemeinschaft der Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland and regularly performs at the Music Academy Schloss Weikersheim. The orchestra also embodies the friendly connection between JMD and the Association of German Music Schools - from the very beginning.
In the programme for JMD's 75th anniversary in 2026, this ensemble naturally cannot be missing, and its performance is another highlight in the series of zwei:takt concerts 2026.
