Freiburger Puppenbühne - Kasper's Search for the Red Diamond

At the annual Treasure Chest Festival, the king presents the entire royal treasury to his people - but just as the celebrations begin, a priceless red gemstone vanishes. Court Marshal Zitterbein was supposed to guard the chest, yet the diamond is gone. Who is behind it?

Kasper and his dog Bello team up with the children in the audience to investigate. "Kaspers Suche nach dem Roten Diamanten" is an engaging story with a clear plot and expressive stage sets.

Freiburger Puppenbühne is the work of Dr. Johannes and Karin Minuth, who write their own scripts and design all the puppets themselves. Johannes Minuth wrote his doctoral thesis on Kasper theatre and its history; during performances he operates several puppets at once, changes the scenery, and voices all the characters.
