Christmas Eve is just around the corner, and everyone - young and old - is looking forward to the festive season. Grandmother, who has been sleeping poorly lately, has wished for a new pillow. But the witch Klapperzahn is also eagerly awaiting Father Christmas's arrival. At an opportune moment, the cunning sorceress steals the gift intended for Grandmother.

With the children's help, Kasper and his friends manage to reclaim the stolen Christmas present from the wicked witch. Since the adventure goes so well, everyone sings traditional songs for Father Christmas together at the end!

Not only the imaginative puppets and costumes, but also the wintry and enchanting stage sets create a cheerful atmosphere as Freiburg puppeteer David Minuth draws on all his skills from behind the scenes.
