Folk Songs

MDR-Kinderchor and MDR-Sinfonieorchester, conducted by Michael Francis, perform in Hoyerswerda on Saturday, 29 August 2026 at 18:00 in Lausitzhalle. This is one of four German dates on the ensemble's tour. Lausitzhalle serves as the city's main concert and congress venue, accommodating several hundred guests with flexible hall arrangements. The programme features the rarely performed cantata Folk Songs of the Four Seasons by Vaughan Williams and Joachim Raff's Symphony No. 3 in F major "Im Walde". Admission: 25 €.
