Mayflower Madame + No Love Lost

In November 2024, Norwegian band Mayflower Madame released their highly anticipated third album Insight. Mixed and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (known for his work with The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher, and The Vacant Lots), the album showcases the band refining their distinctive blend of pulsing post-punk, shimmering shoegaze, and ethereal psych-noir into a sharper and more expansive soundscape than ever before. The nine tracks of Insight take listeners on a hypnotic journey through shadows, filled with haunting melodies and dreamy melancholy. At the same time, the album remains engaging and dynamic. The record has earned widespread praise and extensive support from radio stations including MOJO, Rolling Stone Germany, Eclipsed Magazine, Sonic Seducer, Rumore Magazine, BBC 6 Music, and many more. Mayflower Madame, known for their intense and atmospheric live performances, have played headline shows in ten different countries since the album's release, with further tours and festivals planned for 2026.

No Love Lost perform modern post-punk inspired by 1980s bands like Joy Division, The Sound, and Gang of Four, as well as 2000s post-punk revival acts, particularly Interpol. Individual instruments never stand alone; it is through the interplay of guitars, bass, drums, and synthesizers that a complete picture emerges, over which the vocals move - often angry or desperate, but always tinged with melancholy.
