Description was written before the event

Caravel returns to Augustinum Heidelberg for their second concert. The five-piece band was founded in 2021 at Popakademie Mannheim and blends the rock style of their 70s heroes - Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin - with modern influences. The band's name draws inspiration from the caravels that carried Christopher Columbus to America: ships symbolizing innovation, perseverance, and adaptability.

Line-up:
Chiara Kilchling (lead vocals, guitar)
Jan Martin (guitar, backing vocals)
Tobias Rehor (keys, backing vocals)
Leon Falkenstein (bass)
Lilo Priochotta (drums)

The performance takes place as part of the anniversary theme "50 Years VIELSTIMMIG". The roughly one-hour concert concludes with a reception at the foyer bar.
