For their new show, 1. FC Heidelberg has reinvented itself as a researchers' club - the 1. FC-FC, if you will. Dressed in stylish pink overalls (POA - Pink OverAll), they push the test tube to its limits. And well beyond. Just how far surprised even the members themselves. One question chases the next, all set against highlights from the incredible universe of musical possibilities. Once the research spirit takes hold, the inner frog is conquered and the body steeled for adventure, nothing can stop the 1. FC-FC! The audience can look forward to an entertaining, fun and witty evening. And at the end, we might just find the answer to why the universe cannot grant every wish after all...?

Originally a small vocal ensemble formed for a theatre production under the musical direction of Bernhard Bentges, the "1. FC Heidelberg" came together in 1989. Not a football club, but an a cappella comedy ensemble that has delighted audiences with its varied programmes on stages across southern Germany.

In 2024, 1. FC Heidelberg was part of the Emmertsgrunder Kultursommer. With their new show "Frosch im All" (premiere in mid-May 2026 at the Heidelberger Theater), the ladies are back "on the hill" for the second time and stepping onto the Augustinum stage for the first time - looking forward to welcoming old and new fans alike!
