Weltjahresbestzeit - Stories and Music by the Duo "2Flügel"
Augustinum Heidelberg, Germany
15 €
"A rich and musical experience." (Deutschlandfunk)
An evening in Advent. 2Flügel for the most special weeks of the year - the run-up to Christmas. Time to listen, look forward, and breathe.
Storyteller Christina Brudereck and musician Ben Seipel bring songs and stories for the festive season - thoughtful and gently humorous, a way to tune in to Christmas and find a moment of calm in a busy time.
The story of the Christ child in Sarajevo, medleys of well-known Christmas carols, music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Annie Lennox and U2 - these and much more await audiences at the Weltjahresbestzeit programme. The show runs approximately 2 hours with an interval after about one hour.
Christina Brudereck is a theologian and author who loves storytelling, weaving together culture, politics and theopoetry. Ben Seipel is a pianist and lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik Köln, whose improvisations draw on soul, jazz and classical music, children's songs and hymns.
