MEDLZ - The 90s - a cappella

MEDLZ are four women who bring 90s hits to the stage purely a cappella - using drumpads and effect units to transform their voices down to the deepest bass lines, with no instruments whatsoever.

The setlist runs from "MFG" (Fantastische Vier) and "GoldenEye" through an electro-pop take on "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to Madonna's "Frozen" and "Du trägst keine Liebe in dir". The stage is dressed with props from the decade: lollipops, a stair runner printed with BRAVO magazine motifs, and a Kuschelrock CD.

The band leans into self-irony and humour - the audience is explicitly invited to dance along.
