Komische Nacht is one of Germany's most successful live-comedy formats. In the city's finest cafés, restaurants, and performance venues, you'll experience an entertaining and carefree evening - with top-quality entertainment from various comedians, cabaret artists, and other comedy performers. Each Komische Nacht is unique.

Komische Nacht offers a colourful and exciting snapshot of Germany's contemporary comedy scene. At each venue, up to 5 comedians perform for roughly 20 minutes each. The best part: you don't have to wander from bar to bar to see different acts. Simply buy a ticket to your favourite spot, and we "serve" you several artists. At Komische Nacht, the comedians themselves move between venues. From stage to stage - it's a genuine comedy marathon for both performers and audience.

Whether it's a restaurant or student pub, cultural centre or hair salon, cinema or cocktail bar - the venues are as diverse as the comedians themselves. What remains constant everywhere is the fun factor. At Komische Nacht, laughter comes first. And since laughing alone is possible but sometimes feels odd, it's best to go with friends, colleagues, or - depending on your sense of humour - your in-laws. Together you can laugh, enjoy good food and drink, and during the breaks between acts you'll have plenty of time for relaxed conversation.

Incidentally, the first Komische Nacht took place in 2008 in Oldenburg's city centre. Since then, this unique comedy marathon has become a regular event in over 40 German cities (including Bielefeld, Frankfurt, Hannover, Kassel, Lübeck, Münster, and Oldenburg).
