Traditional Castle Courtyard Serenade — Neues Schloss Tettnang, Tettnang

Bad weather alternative: Obereisenbach Hall

Magic lingers over the world. At least on this evening in the castle courtyard in Tettnang. When fairies whisper, ghosts and witches dance, death becomes a violinist, and all the other creatures of the night gather - it is time for the Castle Courtyard Serenade of the Friedrichshafen Symphony Orchestra. Beneath the open sky unfolds an enchanted realm of music: Mendelssohn's elves from A Midsummer Night's Dream surround us, while Mussorgsky unleashes spirits on the Bald Mountain. Mozart enchants with The Magic Flute, Offenbach charms the Rhine nymphs, Saint-Saëns invites us to a macabre dance, and Gounod leads us straight into Mephistopheles' realm. An evening between goosebumps and a wink - mystical, captivating, and decidedly not of this world.

Works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Mussorgsky, Saint-Saëns, Gounod and others.

Soloist: Jelena Nerdinger, violin
Friedrichshafen Symphony Orchestra e.V.
Conductor: MD Joachim Trost
