Robinson Khoury is one of the most compelling new voices in French jazz. The trombonist and composer brings two genuinely inventive instrumentalists to the Jazzsommer: Anissa Nehari and Léo Jassef. As MYA, the trio weaves together jazz, Middle Eastern scales and electroacoustic soundscapes into a sound that is entirely their own.

In 2025, Khoury received the Prix Django Reinhardt as "Best Jazz Musician of the Year" and is currently nominated for the Victoires du Jazz Awards.
