Thorbjörn Risager & The Black Tornado have been Denmark's foremost roots-rock act for years, long before their ninth studio album "House of Sticks" (released January 2025 on Mascot Records) confirmed it once more. For over two decades the band has played stages around the world, winning over audiences every time. Their appeal lies in a sound that blends soul, Chicago blues, boogie and rock'n'roll into something hard to resist - and Thorbjörn Risager's voice, sitting somewhere between Ray Charles, Van Morrison and Billy Gibbons, is the crowning touch.
