Mozart - Concert with Duo Sorella

As part of the "Mozart between the Danube and Ries" series marking the 270th birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Kulturring Dillingen e.V. presents a concert evening as part of the regional jubilee programme.

On Sunday, 4 October 2026, at 17:00, six sonatas composed by Mozart at the age of ten will be performed in the historic festival hall of Dillingen Castle - works created during the concert tour of the child prodigy with his sister Maria Anna ("Nannerl") and his father Leopold Mozart. According to tradition, Mozart performed these sonatas for the archbishop during a visit to Dillingen in this very festival hall.

Duo Sorella - Lena Bröning and Minthe Sophie Hartmann - interprets the works in the instrumentation of violin and harpsichord or piano. Both musicians, who received significant impulses from Prof. Franz Vorraber and Prof. Johannes Möller at the Wiesbaden Academy of Music, are united by a long-standing artistic collaboration.

The evening is hosted by Dillingen musician Marcus Bernard Hartmann with moderation, historical context, and anecdotes about Mozart's early sonatas.
