Hennes Bender - "Alter Falter" (preview performance)

They keep multiplying and there's no stopping them - well, maybe with botox! Wrinkles, of course. Hennes Bender has collected quite a few over the years: under the eyes, around the mouth, worry lines on the forehead, and in places where there weren't even places before. And then there are the laugh lines on his audience's faces - those Hennes has been responsible for across four decades on stage.

In his tenth (!) programme, he's back on solid ground amid the madness of everyday life - playful, a little unhinged, self-aware, and - apart from the odd twinge in his back - largely pain-free. Because Hennes has no interest in moaning about getting older. He knows: the old days weren't better - today is just "worse"! And wrinkles, when you think about it, are nothing more than life experience tanned into your face.

And Hennes has plenty of that. The old moth keeps flying - unafraid of furrows. Because being smooth is easy - anyone can do that.
