They are Germany's A-cappella poets of the German language. Their style: catchy melodies and sharp, intelligent lyrics. Anders write clever pop songs in German that take the a cappella format seriously - going well beyond instrument imitation or nostalgic covers of chart hits. That's what wins over audiences not only at their own shows, but also as support for acts like Revolverheld and Thees Uhlmann.

ANDERS are winners of the St. Ingberter Pfanne 2020 (audience prize and special prize of the Minister of Culture), the Vokal.total Festival Graz 2019 (1st prize in the POP category), and the SoLaLa ACappella Festival Solingen 2019 (jury prize and audience prize). In 2019, their album "Viel Lärm um dich" earned them the CARA Award in the USA for best European a cappella album. They also took 1st place at the Aarhus Vocal Festival 2024 and received the Förderpreis des Kleinkunstpreises Baden-Württemberg 2024.

With their new programme "So kurz davor", the five singers go all in, celebrating life in all its facets in their own poetic way - humorous, melancholic, philosophically curious and self-assured. The title "So kurz davor" is less a self-description than a promise. With this programme, the Freiburg-based group shows once again that they can already hold their own against the biggest names in the scene.
