An Evening with Sophia Fritz

Man - victim? Men still hold most of the power and shape the structures of society. Yet behind that dominance lies a contradictory reality: men who withdraw, go silent, or remain emotionally unreachable - in relationships, in families, and within themselves.

Starting from the loss of her brother, Sophia Fritz embarks on an urgent search. She asks how masculinity is formed today and why it is so often bound up with pain - for men themselves and for those around them. Following "Toxische Weiblichkeit", she now presents "Der Mann, das Opfer" (published 6 October 2026) - a sharp and empathetic analysis of patriarchal masculinity that also opens up a vision of what a freer, more vulnerable way of being a man might look like.
