Alois Gscheidle: "Rei'gschmeckt" - Swabian Cabaret
Nonnenbachschule, Kressbronn, Germany
16 €
Visitors can expect a generous dose of "Swabian spirit" from television-known cabaret artist Alois Gscheidle. He characterizes the typically Swabian way of thinking and living: cunning, full of hidden wit, and clever! In his programme "Rei'gschmeckt", this true Swabian spares neither newcomers nor native Swabians. Everyone gets their money's worth.
In the various characters that Alois Gscheidle (in civilian life Marcus Neuweiler) brings to the stage, he holds up a mirror to the audience in simple everyday scenes: as a caretaker he ensures Swabian order in the house, when he has a cold he plays mortally ill, as a housewife he deals with the garbage-sorting problem, and in the evening he goes to his beloved singing class. From what seems an inexhaustible reservoir, Gscheidle dons new costumes for each role and changes character in a split second.
Alois Gscheidle is a master of spontaneity and improvisation. He deliberately leaves room in his programme for dialogues and minor supporting roles without losing the thread. The stage is really just a backdrop; he likes to stage his pieces right in the middle of the audience. Nowhere can you learn and understand "Swabian" as a way of life faster than with Alois Gscheidle. And by the time you're heading home, even non-Swabians know that a "Glufamichel" is not a "Sicherheitsnadelmichael"!
Beverages are served before and after the show as well as during the interval.
