Roland Jankowsky has played Commissioner Overbeck in the ZDF crime series Wilsberg for over 24 years - a role that has long achieved cult status. In 2018, TV viewers voted him "Germany's Coolest TV Commissioner".

Alongside his filming commitments, Jankowsky has been touring with crime fiction readings for ten years. Across six programmes, he reads short stories by various authors, marked by surprising twists, wordplay and grotesque situations - always ending in ways nobody sees coming.
