Roland Jankowsky - "Over…is back!"

For over 24 years, Roland Jankowsky has played the rather peculiar Commissioner Overbeck in the popular ZDF crime series Wilsberg. On screen he plays the cool cop - yet somehow manages to stumble from one blunder to the next. His character has nonetheless achieved cult status, and two years ago viewers voted him "Germany's Coolest TV Commissioner 2018".

Beyond the filming schedule, Jankowsky has spent the past ten years touring successfully with his crime readings. Here, instead of social mishaps, it's bodies that tend to pile up along the way.

Across six programmes to date, Jankowsky reads short stories by various authors - tales marked by unexpected twists, wordplay and grotesque situations that always end in surprising fashion. He is a genuinely gifted storyteller.
