William Roine & Band - "Schrebergarten" Live in Hameln

William Roine is a singer-songwriter from Hameln who now lives in Münster. His song "Schrebergarten" has been getting a lot of attention in recent weeks - especially back home in Hameln - and now he's returning to the Sumpfblume for a hometown show with his full band.

His music sits somewhere between indie, folk and honest stories from real life. He writes about home, family, relationships, self-doubt and that feeling of not quite fitting in anywhere.

"Schrebergarten" has become, more or less, a song about Hameln - which is exactly why this concert probably means more than any he's played before. For William, the evening is also a bit of a back-to-the-roots moment: he used to play the Sumpfblume stage with school bands, and now he's back on it - this time with songs of his own.
