Akademie Showings

After a semester of intensive work in class, we say: The stage is yours! Participants of the tanzhaus Akademie take to the Große Bühne for the Akademie Showings, presenting what they have learned to a live audience.

Each week, more than 2,000 children, teenagers and adults attend tanzhaus Akademie classes, exploring a wide range of dance styles - from children's ballet and hip-hop to tap and jazz dance. In a full stage show, the dancers perform choreographies and short pieces developed together with their instructors during the course.

The Akademie Showings mark the close and highlight of the academic year, before the new programme kicks off in September. The adult showings are open not only to family and friends of participants, but to anyone interested in dance who wants to see what the Akademie offers and how many styles can come alive on stage.
